Whole Foods Market Kahului announced today that our own Roxanne Tiffin is the winner of their INGREDIENTS “Farm to Plate” photo contest. Roxanne’s winning photo featured all locally grown produce, including cherry tomoatoes, Maui onions and Evonuk Farms herbs, mixed with Hawaiian sea salt and Oils of Aloha Macadamia Nut Oil, on its way to the oven.

Whole Foods Market Kahului is holding its Community Support Day this Saturday, July 24th, where 5% of the day’s sales is donated to help a participating nonprofit organization. Roxanne will be on hand to accept her prize, which includes a Whole Foods reusable bag, a gift certificate to the Seascape Ma’alaea Restaurant from the Maui Ocean Center and a DVD of the film INGREDIENTS Hawai‘i, highlighting locally-based agriculture. Samples of the winning entrée will be available.
